As a CAD Technician at Stantec Consulting International Ltd., you will be part of a team that is committed to delivering high-quality design solutions. Your role will involve developing and preparing drawings in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT or associated programs based on direction and design provided by landscape architects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing comprehensive drawings, prints of various original plans and records for internal and external company use.
  • Producing drawings for land development projects, base plans and detailed drawings for landscape projects as required.
  • Collaborating with urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers and other CAD technicians to coordinate design projects.
  • Utilizing customized tools, utilities and scripts to automate work processes and improve AutoCAD productivity and efficiency in compliance with the company CAD standards.
  • Client Service Management (Internal and external client liaison, Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationship. Experience in utility diversions and management)
  • Following safe work practices and adhering to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.

Requirements

  • Degree from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Must have wet utilities experience and have experience in Civils 3D.
  • Experience in using Revit will be a bonus.
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
