Academic Operations ManagerAbout The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Academic Operations Manager to join our team at Gulf University. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments and ensuring seamless operational processes.

Main Objectives:
  • Leadership and Guidance: Supervise staff administrative activities across the university, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive progress.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the Finance, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, and Purchasing departments, optimizing processes for maximum impact.
  • Achieving Academic Goals: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement academic strategic planning, aligning with the university's vision.
  • Resource Management: Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and collection processes, ensuring prudent stewardship of resources.
  • Maintenance and Grounds: Be responsible for building maintenance and grounds upkeep, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Purchasing and Supplies: Oversee all purchases, including instructional materials, furniture, supplies, technology software, etc., ensuring value for money.
  • Employee Relations: Manage staff salaries and benefits, ensuring compliance with government regulations and university policies.
  • Recruitment and Training: Lead personnel operations, including recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff.
  • Disciplinary Action: Take disciplinary actions as necessary, submitting an annual report to the President.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the President, contributing to the university's success.
