Programme Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading defence and security think tank in the Middle East. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides best-in-class independent and impartial analysis on strategic challenges and priorities to governments and the private sector.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate project activities between research and operations teams to deliver programme objectives.
- Assist with key project tasks including event planning, CRM administration, grant reporting and publication dissemination.
- Contribute to drafting grant proposals and budgets, implementing new projects, contract reporting, tracking deliverables and timelines, drafting outlines and tracking research, other management tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with publications, editorial and design teams on research products by synchronising inputs, tracking progress and managing outputs.
- Assist with background research, drafting event summaries and generating blog proposals.
- Draft text for invitations for in-house events in coordination with senior researchers.
- Support regional activity as assigned in project division of labour schedules.
- Provide general administrative support tasks as assigned by the managing director.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with ongoing learning demonstrated.
- Experience preferably in an international environment coordinating projects.
- Experience in office administration with experience in grant or financial paperwork.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, and sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate well with a wide range of people both in person and remotely across time-zones.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
