Reservations Agent - Luxury Hotel Experience

  • A successful Reservations Agent will be responsible for maximizing rooms revenue and profit through proactive selling techniques and referrals across the resort.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel products and services to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Handle all reservations efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely communication with guests.

  • Check arrival reports and prepare Pro Forma invoices as requested by accounts.

  • Participate in revenue growth initiatives by upselling and promoting additional services.

  • Follow up on non-guaranteed and waitlisted bookings to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints, demonstrating genuine care and concern.

  • Liaise with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of revenue processes.

  • Prepare and update correspondence related to room sales.

  • Assist in cluster sales projects, including FAM trips and client events.

  • Handle group reservations and communicate with the Events/Sales Department.

About You:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a luxury hotel environment is required.

  • Prior experience in cross-training or internships in reservations, revenue, or sales departments is beneficial.

  • Good knowledge of Opera PMS and intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office) are essential.

  • You should be able to handle shift responsibilities and assist newly joined colleagues with job duties.
