Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, providing exceptional service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the shop.
  • Educate customers about our range of chocolates, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and production processes.
  • Assist individual customers in selecting the perfect treats for various occasions (e.g., gifts, celebrations, personal indulgence).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and local businesses for bulk orders and special events.
  • Develop and manage proposals for corporate deals, including price negotiations and service agreements.
  • Conduct tastings and product demonstrations to enhance customer experience and encourage sales, particularly for corporate clients.
  • Prepare and package chocolate orders, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met for both retail and corporate clients.
  • Maintain an organized and clean sales area, including restocking shelves and displays as needed.
  • Manage transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure stock availability.
  • Collaborate with team members to create enticing displays and seasonal promotions tailored for corporate events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings to effectively serve customers, including corporate clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail, sales, or corporate relations preferred.
  • Passion for chocolate and a desire to share that passion with customers and corporate clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with all types of customers, including business professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present confidently to corporate clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
