Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving inventory in-stock issues, managing purchasing processes, and ensuring that inventory levels meet demand.

  • You will analyze key metrics including vendor fill rate, lead time variability, and FC inbound capacity to maintain best-in-class in-stock rates and inventory turns.
  • Identify and communicate current and future inventory issues, as well as develop sound recovery plans.
  • Participate in cross-functional manufacturer and vendor reviews, driving vendor operational improvement.
  • Utilize forecasting software and exception reporting to reduce forecast errors and achieve category forecast accuracy targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model business trends and communicate insights to optimize business processes and results in both short- and long-term.
  • Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications.
  • Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly production plans, prioritizing work orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years of impactful experience.
  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs.
  • Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
