Instrumentation Specialist Role

An instrumentation specialist is needed to support the operations of industrial processes in Manama. The ideal candidate will have experience with instrument installation, maintenance, and repair.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation, Calibration, Troubleshooting, and Repair: Pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators must be installed, calibrated, and maintained according to specifications.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Instruments are regularly cleaned, lubricated, and components replaced as per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Performance Testing: Ensuring proper functionality and accuracy through thorough testing procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying and resolving issues using technical manuals and equipment.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Creating reports on instrument performance and maintenance activities.
  • System Design and Collaboration: Working with the engineering team to design new instrument systems or upgrades for existing systems.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Educating new technicians on instrument maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in instrumentation is highly valued.
  • At least two years of experience working as an instrumentation specialist in an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial processes.
  • The ability to read technical diagrams and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues from different departments.
