Senior Mechanic

As a Mechanical Facilities Engineer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC systems and chilled water plants. This role involves controlling service reports delivered to clients, preparing quotations, and following up on client and supplier contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ductwork, valves, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in cooling, airflow, and control systems.
- Execute and monitor preventive maintenance for all mechanical assets.
- Optimize HVAC performance for energy efficiency and operational reliability.
- Review and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Prepare bills of quantities, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and support in mechanical scope reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team leaders and technicians.
- Assign tasks and coordinate mechanical workforce scheduling.
- Lead toolbox talks and technical refreshers for HVAC staff.
- Escalate and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (4+ years).
- 7+ years' experience in technical maintenance with exposure to facilities management, particularly in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of Bahrain laws and regulations, as well as global best practices.
