Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operation of the housekeeping and laundry department in an efficient and courteous manner, providing guests with quality service and a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that team members provide attentive, friendly, and helpful service to all guests, managers, and fellow team members.
- Inspect Room Attendant's work performance to ensure standards and productivity levels are met.
- In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, inspect VIP rooms and report their availability to the Front Office.
- Oversee the closing of floors at the end of the day and ensure Room Attendants' carts are clean and restocked.
- Monitor cleanliness and order of Room Attendants' carts, linen closets, control closets, stairways, and landings.
- Establish and educate team members on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
