Job Title: Information Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, with the ability to independently perform security tasks and support handling, marking, storage, safeguarding, and destruction of classified information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify security clearances and visitor requests in accordance with NISPOM guidelines.
  • Support COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments for investigations, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
  • Assist with security procedures, including execution of verification of security clearances.
Requirements
  • Expert-level knowledge of the NISPOM.
  • Experience in security management, including verification of security clearances and visitor requests.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, often on short notice.
  • Ability to travel overseas, with a valid US Passport.

About the Role

This role is located at the 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Task Force 51/5; Naval Support Activity Bahrain; Manama, Bahrain.

The selected candidate will be required to support operations in various countries within the CENTCOM AOR, including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others.
