Role Description
The primary goal of the Career Coach is to ensure seamless transitions for students as they prepare for their next professional steps and graduates are equipped with confidence in their job search. This involves striking a balance between supporting students' obligations, developing market-specific career development curriculum, delivering programs tailored to the tech industry, and empowering graduates to find fulfilling roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a robust pipeline of students and graduates through innovative programming initiatives, one-on-one coaching, and employer engagement
- Respond to students' and job seekers' needs to identify challenges and develop cohesive action plans
- Serve as an accountability and thought partner to students and local team members
Performance Goals
We set high standards for our Career Coaches to ensure exceptional outcomes. Key performance indicators include:
- 65% outcomes within 90 days and 95% within 180 days
- 90% of graduates qualified and kicking off their job search within two weeks of graduation
- 25% or less of 'Not Seeking' graduates
- 20% or fewer graduates on Outcomes Extended Pathway
Qualitative Requirements
A successful Career Coach demonstrates:
- Excellent command over coaching knowledge and ability to innovate effective content delivery
- Thought leadership with local teams to execute a best-in-class student experience
- Authentic, friendly, and productive collaboration with team members globally and locally
