This role involves providing personalized care and support to seniors in Muharraq, Bahrain. Your main responsibility will be to assist them with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also provide companionship and engage them in stimulating activities to promote their physical and mental well-being.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in caregiving for the elderly and be fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus). They must also be compassionate, patient, and possess a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include administering medication according to prescribed schedule, assisting with meal planning and preparation, accompanying clients on doctor visits or other appointments, engaging clients in meaningful activities, monitoring client's health status and reporting any changes to the supervisor, maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client, and providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
Working hours are 8 hours per day, 6 days a week. This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license and own transportation. The caregiver will be expected to work independently and handle emergencies effectively.
A suitable candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and service.
