">We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management function as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) within a licensed financial entity. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework, ensuring that all key risks—operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic—are proactively identified and mitigated.
">Responsibilities
">- Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework.
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organization.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance and interface with regulatory authorities.
- Deliver risk insights and reporting to senior leadership and board committees.
- Collaborate with business unit heads to enhance risk culture and improve decision-making.
- Provide ongoing support and recommendations to improve business quality and risk posture.
Qualifications
">- Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management within a licensed financial institution or bank.
- Proven expertise in managing risks across multiple domains: credit, operational, market, liquidity, and regulatory.
- Experience with regulatory bodies, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are mandatory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
