Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and issue aircraft technical parts, ensuring that all items are correctly identified, stored, and handled in accordance with Gulf Air Policy and Procedures.
  • Bin Allocation: Allocate correct bin locations for parts and ensure that they are arranged neatly, with all tags visible and without disrupting the location.
  • Documentation: Check and file associated documentation for received and issued parts.
  • Computer System Updates: Update the computer system to reflect the status of parts received and issued.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Part Reception and Storage: Receive and store aircraft technical parts in a safe and organized manner, adhering to weight, dimension, or category requirements.
  2. Issuance and Dispatch: Issue and dispatch parts to Maintenance facilities and update Inventory Control System records accordingly.
  3. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain stores racks and bin locations in an orderly and clean manner at all times.
  4. Stock Movement: Arrange for shipment or movement of stock as requested.
  5. Hazardous Materials Handling: Take necessary precautions when handling Dangerous Goods items.
  6. Shelf Life Monitoring: Monitor shelf life items, compile lists of expiring SL items, and share with Stores supervisors.
  7. Rotation Basis: Ensure parts are issued based on a rotational basis (First-in, First-out).
  8. Assistance and Support: Assist with Stock checks, material packing, and preparation of Pick Slips.
  9. Forklift Operation: Use Fork lift and truck to move and position large components and bulky parts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary School level.
  • Training: Training in warehousing and shipping is an advantage if available.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in warehousing.
