Job Title: Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Crime Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing client due diligence documentation, approving records in line with our company's AML/CFT policy & procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review client due diligence documentation and approve records as per company policy.
  • Perform AML Compliance quality and testing, evaluate process deficiencies, analyze control measures, enhance reporting capabilities, and recommend corrective actions to the MLRO/Head of Compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AML landscape to assess and identify emerging risks, recommending program enhancements.
  • Identify and escalate unusual activity or cases that fail to meet internal guidelines, regulations, and the AML law of the Kingdom.
  • Support the Head of Compliance in implementing the board-approved compliance program, ensuring regulatory requirements and internal procedures are met.
  • Highlight concerns of non-compliance or improvements to management.
  • Conduct daily transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence on internal alerts generated on a day-to-day basis, providing reports to MLRO/DMLRO.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance and MLRO in preparing annual reports on Compliance-related matters.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years experience in Compliance/AML/Risk function with a financial institution/related field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and associated analytical tools.
  • Able to focus on details and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Professional Certifications - CAMS / ICA Advanced Certification or Diploma preferred but not mandatory.
  • Digital Assets knowledge is an asset.
