Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments, maintaining a professional demeanor, and adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver spa treatments to the required standard and as per the daily schedule.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, adhering to the established standard of conduct, house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
  • Dress in issued uniform and ensure a neat, clean, and tidy appearance at all times, adhering to the Grooming Standards Policy.
  • Report to shift on time, aware of the schedule at all times, and notify the Supervisor in adequate time if unable to attend work according to policy.
  • Be fully familiar with Hotel Fire and Emergency Procedures.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness, and hygiene of the treatment rooms and facilities.
  • Aware of all treatments and products on offer and any current promotions.
  • Achieve sales and guest service targets as set by the Spa Management.
  • Offer guests full after-care advice and the chance to purchase recommended products within their treatment.
  • Assist in other related areas as required, particularly scheduling and reception/greeting of guests.
  • Greet guests warmly and use their name during treatment.
  • Assist with demonstrations and events as required.
  • Adhere to training as set out by the Spa Management and follow guidance from senior spa therapists, attending new or update training as required.
  • Use the correct quantities and mix of product within treatments and ensure the security of products within treatment rooms and sales areas.
  • Fully aware of all health and safety issues relating to the department and report anything that may present a danger to guests or staff.
  • Always be punctual and prepared in advance for all treatments, avoiding delays whenever possible.
  • Ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Flexible with regard to hours worked and prepared to adjust these to meet business demands.
