Physician Specialist in Restoration Therapy

As a Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in restoring function and quality of life to patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or chronic illnesses and develop rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.
- Provide expert guidance in managing conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal pain, and amputations.
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary rehab teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
- Monitor and adjust therapy programs based on patient progress.
- Perform and supervise procedures such as joint injections, spasticity management (e.g., botulinum toxin), and nerve conduction studies.
- Educate patients and families on condition management, adaptive techniques, and assistive device usage.
- Collaborate with surgical, neurological, orthopedic, and primary care teams to ensure holistic care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
This is a mid-senior level, full-time position that requires a strong background in rehabilitation medicine, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, clinical decision-making, and team collaboration skills, as well as strong communication and patient education abilities.
The successful candidate will have a medical degree from a recognized institution, completed specialty training or residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a valid medical license and registration with relevant medical authority. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine is required.
