We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit management efforts for large corporate clients.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and recommending credit facilities for a portfolio of large corporate clients, ensuring compliance with all credit policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Application Preparation: Ensure timely preparation and submission of credit applications, including client visits and due diligence in coordination with the coverage team.
- Client Engagement: Coordinate with relationship managers ahead of annual review due dates to gather necessary client information for comprehensive credit reviews.
- Turnaround Times: Maintain credit processing and approval turnaround times as per service level agreements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor accounts and follow up with business units on terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential problem accounts through early warning indicators and liaise with business units for corrective actions.
- Data Accuracy: Review exception and portfolio reports, keeping abreast of clients' financial standing and market developments to inform risk assessments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure data accuracy in reports presented to stakeholders, including senior management.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Required.
- Chartered Accountant or MBA: Desirable.
Experience:
- Relevant Banking Experience: At least 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years in roles of increasing responsibility within credit management of large corporates.
