Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our dynamic team as a Science Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated professional to contribute to the academic success of our students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science to secondary level students, including iGCSE and BTEC Applied Science at Key Stage 5.

They will also be expected to maintain high standards of student achievement, promote a positive learning environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons to students
  • Monitor student progress, set targets, and provide regular feedback
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned resources
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A degree in Science or a related subject
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience of teaching science to secondary level students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
