Job Description

As a Teaching Fellow, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality educational programmes in Computer Science and Software Engineering on our Bahrain campus. You will design and develop course materials, teach courses, and contribute to the department's research initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • Good knowledge of computer science/software engineering, including programming languages (Java, Python, Haskell, C, PHP, JavaScript, SQL) and theoretical computer science;
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development, particularly in areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, software architecture, design patterns, and professional issues in computing;
  • A good Honours degree and PhD in a relevant area or equivalent professional experience;
  • Ability to develop knowledge of appropriate teaching methods and good pedagogic practice;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
