Job Summary:

The Customer Service Associate role requires strong customer interaction and communication skills. This position involves providing high standards of customer service, selling products, stocking, visual merchandising, ordering merchandise, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, including gift wrapping and after-sales service
  • Greeting customers promptly and politely, following customer service standards
  • Guiding customers throughout the store or to specific areas as requested
  • Finding out customers' specific needs and preferences
  • Operating as a cashier, using POS machines accurately and handling money efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor, restocking goods, and displaying merchandise attractively
  • Reducing incidence of theft and shoplifting, alerting managers in case of such incidents
  • Following grooming standards and meeting attendance and punctuality expectations
  • Receiving and storing stock deliveries, reporting discrepancies to supervisors
  • Stocking shelves, checking daily stock levels, and ensuring product availability
  • Offering to put customers' names on wishlists and calling them when stock arrives
  • Maintaining a clean and organized back-stock area, including staff break areas
  • FOLLOWING FIFO (First In First Out) principles

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in Chocolate, Food Retail, or Food & Beverage industry
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
