Job Description:

The Executive Assistant to the President plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of the president's office, providing exceptional support to the institution's leadership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Management: The successful candidate will efficiently manage the president's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, preparing and organizing documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the president's goals and priorities.
  • Event Coordination: The Executive Assistant will coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings, faculty meetings, and other strategic events, taking meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Project Oversight: This position involves overseeing special projects and initiatives at the request of the president, including strategic planning, events, and key university activities, tracking progress and reporting back on outcomes.
  • Resource Allocation: The successful candidate will assist with managing resources for the president's office, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking expenditures.
Detailed Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and editing documents, presentations, and reports;
  • Developing and implementing processes to improve office efficiency;
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases;
  • Providing administrative support to the president and other senior administrators;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals;

Requirements:
