Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to lead quality assurance and quality control efforts across complex mechanical engineering projects in heavy industrial environments.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with aluminium smelter cast house operations and a strong understanding of international codes and standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce QA/QC systems throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
- Oversee inspections, documentation, and commissioning activities.
- Lead QA/QC efforts on cast house projects, including casting lines, cooling systems, and molten metal handling.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve issues, optimize designs, and manage quality performance.
- Support contract administration and invoicing processes.
Requirements:
- B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- 20+ years of experience in heavy industrial engineering.
- Extensive experience with aluminium smelter cast house operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
