At Amazon, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Application Architect to join our Proserve team. As a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for leading the adoption of innovative solutions and best practices, promoting a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to deliver scalable, high-quality systems. Your expertise will drive value by supporting local Pro Serve delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational Pro Serve Cloud Native Engineering Engagements for AWS customers.

You'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying highly scalable distributed systems and services while following Amazon's approach towards software engineering. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential in this role, as you'll work closely across teams and disciplines to deliver high-quality products and services, and share knowledge of effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns.

In addition to pre-sales support, you'll develop and deliver presentations that outline technical strategies and methodologies to customers, ensuring alignment and transparency in engineering processes and the art of the possible with AWS Cloud transformation approach. Understanding customer requirements and collaborating with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new customer engagements is also crucial.
