SME Product Management Specialist

The role of an SME Product Manager involves driving profitability by developing a well-optimized mix and pricing for finance & liability products & partnerships, ensuring their management and roll out across sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ideate and develop product concepts that align with the bank's strategy and meet commercial, technical and operational feasibility criteria.
- Owning the product vision, collecting business requirements and translating them into a value-oriented product roadmap as part of objectives, customer needs and market trends.
- Developing and executing the detailed business plan for SME products, including target segments, detailed product design and structuring, product pricing, delivery channels, sales strategy and operational and customer service processes.
- Preparing all documentation around the new product including Product Program, Go to Market Strategy, Process Notes and recommending relevant changes to policies and procedures.
- Leading the new product approval process by getting approvals from relevant stakeholders and partnering with Legal & Compliance teams to ensure that products efficiently meet all regulatory requirements.
Product Life Cycle Management
Enhancing current products and services based on new industry trends or opportunities as well as identifying gaps in current products based on feedback provided by front office teams and to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Preparing business requirements for product enhancement and working collaboratively with IT for implementation.
- Acting as a product promoter internally and externally, working closely with Marketing & Communication team, to prepare the product marketing plan including sales & marketing material.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) - MBA, PMP, CIM, certifications on product management, service design etc. are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in SME Product Management.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and management in an SME / commercial banking context.
- Experience in rolling out large and complex programs and understanding of basic concepts of technology and technology architecture.
