About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Controller to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Integrated Operations Centre, ensuring that all aspects of the operation run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a key role within our Operations Department, and the right individual will have a strong background in operations control, with experience of working with automated systems such as Airops and WOTP.

  • Oversee the monitoring of system situations, including fleet, crew, stations, and weather, and anticipate potential disruptions.
  • Coordinate actions with relevant functions to inform of schedule changes.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate information flow between IOC 'core team' members.
Main Responsibilities
  1. System Monitoring: Monitor constantly and be current on system situation (fleet, Crew, Stations and Weather) and anticipate disruptions.
  2. Schedule Changes: Automatically implement and publish >24h schedule changes with little impact on system (e.g. crew, passengers, maintenance).
  3. Coordination: Coordinate with Gulf Air Tec Services and MCC (for aircraft down time), Flight Dispatch (weather and NOTAMS) and Crew Control (Crew disruption).
