Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our IT Advisory team as an integral member. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out engagements related to policy compliance, security requirements governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or execute GRC engagements and IT audits, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance and good practices such as COBIT and ITIL.
  • Review and/or prepare project deliverables, focusing on the reduction of technology risk, governance, and compliance to policies and external regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during engagement execution, providing exceptional service and developing strong relationships.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Audit IT organizations, processes, and systems against regulations, standards, and good practices, ensuring robust control environments.
  • Develop and implement IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks effectively.
  • Enhance clients' security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Evaluate information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment, providing expert guidance on incident response and remediation.
  • Support senior team members in delivering work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, as well as incident management disciplines.
  • Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exceptions assessments, documenting and reporting control failures and gaps to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 1-5+ years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure atmosphere by being attentive and having a strong eye for details.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills, with a focus on developing excellent client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English language (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems effectively, with a results-driven approach.
