Government Relations Director

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing all projects and operations related to government relations, recommending policies and procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff in staff government relations, develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Review government documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verify statistical reports and analysis of cost for Work Permits, CPRs, Smart Cards, and Residence Permits Visas.
  • Review visitor visa requests for employee relatives and company visitors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of renewal/termination contracts.
  • Arrange hotel accommodation for repatriated employees.
  • Review insurance invoices issued from Gulf Air.
  • Manage department staff by selecting, training, motivating, appraising, and disciplining subordinates.
  • Plan and propose solutions concerning Government Relations.
  • Resolve problems concerning expatriate personnel's visa requirements.
  • Negotiate travel arrangements and obtain best discounts.
  • Prepare IATA introductory letters and supervise preparation of annual leave documents.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent Major: A bachelor's degree in business administration or an equivalent major is required.

Minimum 4 Years of Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role is necessary.
