Computer Application Specialist


Job Description

As a Computer Application Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing computer applications to meet the needs of our organization. This involves examining inputs and outputs, validating results, and ensuring that they are free of any defects.

The role also entails translating flow charts into computer programs using development tools as necessary, while applying coding standards when implementing any system.

You will work closely with analysts to prepare user manuals and perform tests in coordination with your direct supervisor.

Additionally, you will submit technical remarks and recommendations to the direct supervisor and maintain operational applications.

You will support and enhance existing systems and implement innovative methods for building and developing systems.

It is also your responsibility to conduct training sessions for new programmers and train university students.

Furthermore, you will participate in awareness and technological programs prepared by the Department of Information Systems and perform other duties related to the role.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Proficiency in programming skills.
  2. Excellent documentation skills.
  3. Ability to analyze information, data, and requirements.
  4. Capacity to prepare appropriate technical reports.
  5. Experience in Low Code development (preferably Mendix).
