About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer who will be responsible for finding the most qualified candidates for our job openings within the targeted time. The successful applicant will provide regular feedback to the hiring manager and ensure that the induction program is implemented throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop job descriptions with the HR Manager and identify recruitment needs with Heads of Department,
  2. Identify and coordinate with local and overseas recruitment agencies to fill vacancies,
  3. Design testing tools for recruitment and control, maintain and update recruitment plans,
  4. Maintain an active and organized database of applicants and type employment offer letters and contracts for selected candidates,
  5. Screen applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications and forward collected CVs to concerned Heads of Department for evaluation,
  6. Schedule/lead interviews for them whenever required and provide feedback,
  7. Obtain and assess all certificates and testimonials of the candidates,
  8. Ensure all recruitment policies are in line with local regulations and procedures and techniques are adhered to,
  9. Conduct new employee induction programs from A to Z and recommend improvements.

Reporting and Evaluation: The Recruitment Officer will report directly to the HR Manager and be evaluated based on the successful placement of candidates and overall performance of the recruitment function.

Language Requirements: Fluent Arabic and very good English language skills are essential for this role.
Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • A human resources degree (or equivalent) – university diploma
  • Proven recruitment experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Project Management, recruiting skills and a good working knowledge of HR processes
  • Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of GCC employment law and HR best practices
  • High level of integrity, ability to work autonomously and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, excellent planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and the Internet
  • Excellent attention to detail and creative, forward thinker
  • Solid team player
