Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to support the financial operations of high-value property developments and projects across the Kingdom and beyond.

About the Role
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries in line with company policies and regulations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments, client invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Track and report on project costs, budgets, and job costing to support construction project financial control
  • Support in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and ensure compliance with Bahrain tax laws
  • Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate cost recording
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed

This role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in construction, real estate, or the hospitality industry.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, development, or construction within Bahrain or the GCC
  • Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems)
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis capabilities
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification (or currently pursuing)
