Gulf Air Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Information Technology team. As a key member of the cybersecurity team, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our organization's digital assets from evolving threats.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced analysis of security incidents and events to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. This includes:

  • Managing and enhancing the organization's Threat Detection and Response capabilities using tools like Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and others.
  • Conducting regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus, Qualys, or Open VAS, and ensuring timely remediation of identified risks.
  • Implementing and maintaining Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions to safeguard critical systems and resources.
  • Developing and executing Security Hardening Guidelines aligned with CIS or SITG Benchmarks.
  • Automating repetitive security tasks using Python scripting and enhancing operational efficiency.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the organization's overall cybersecurity posture and stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulations, providing recommendations to address them proactively.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in cyber security.

You will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication, and attention to detail, with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field.

  • Security Automation and Orchestration using tools like Python, Splunk Phantom, Cortex XSOAR, Azure Sentinel.
  • Dev Sec Ops using tools like Sonar Qube, Git Hub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Security Hardening and Compliance using tools like CIS Benchmarks, SITG Benchmarks, Qualys Policy Compliance.
  • Cloud Security using tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Network Security using tools like Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Snort, Suricata.
  • Endpoint Security using tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Crowd Strike Falcon, Sentinel One.
