IT Service Desk Specialist Role

This role is focused on delivering exceptional IT service desk support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-user issues, providing timely and professional communication, and ensuring all work conducted is logged and managed within tickets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-user issues raised through tickets and calls received through IVR
  • Handle incoming calls from end-users in a professional manner and ensure achievement of KPIs
  • Ensure proper and timely communication to the end-user on every ticket
  • Provide high-quality resolutions of assigned tickets and manage user expectations
  • Escalate tickets that are beyond the scope of Service Desk to other teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Critical and analytical thinking and creativity
  • Conflict Resolution and active listening
  • Team player with ability to influence a positive collaborative culture
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on impact on business
  • Good understanding of computers architecture, Microsoft and desktop applications
  • Excellent understanding of Windows infrastructure and Active Directory services
  • Familiarity with network architecture, LAN protocols, and client-server business applications
