Tax Professional with Expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a tax professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and be proficient in conducting tax due diligence, developing acquisition and financing structures, and assisting with corporate and real estate restructuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize returns, while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and provide expert advice on complex tax matters, driving business results and delivering exceptional value.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations to maintain a high level of technical expertise and provide informed guidance to clients.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Law, Business Economics, or Commercial Engineer is essential, with an advanced master's degree in taxation being highly valued.
  • Relevant experience in a tax department or Big4 firm is necessary to excel in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success, as well as the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required to communicate with clients and colleagues.
