At Nexcel Computer Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled SOC Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events/alerts/incidents and updating relevant documentation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Rapidly identify, categorize, prioritize, and triage incidents using all available log and intelligence sources.
  2. Perform initial investigation and triage of potential incidents and escalate or close incidents as applicable.
  3. Maintain SOC shift logs with relevant activity from analyst shift.
  4. Document investigation results, ensuring relevant details are passed to Senior Analysts for final event analysis.
  5. Manage SOC event and information intake, including gathering intelligence reports and interacting with other security and network groups as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRADAR, and LogRhythm

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires working in shift hours. We are looking for three candidates to fill this role.
