In this pivotal role as Senior Talent Acquisition Strategist, you will play a critical part in shaping Canonical's hiring strategy, driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of excellence. Your Role
As Talent Sourcing Expert, your primary responsibility will be to develop a search strategy that enables headhunted talent to move smoothly through the pipeline. You will coach senior leadership teams to drive hiring outcomes, equipping them to approach and attract exceptional talent for management and leadership positions. Your expertise will also involve conducting in-depth behavioural talent interviews, providing valuable insights into motivations and behaviours, and building key relationships with global stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery against our hiring agenda.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a search strategy that ensures efficient talent flow through the pipeline
2. Coach senior leadership teams to improve their hiring outcomes and approach to attracting top talent
3. Drive talent analytics to provide real-time insights and inform hiring processes
4. Conduct in-depth behavioural talent interviews to gain valuable insights into candidate motivations and behaviours
5. Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and delivery against our hiring agenda

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need professional experience in headhunting from a reputable search firm or in-house search function, with a solid understanding of strategies and experience successfully sourcing senior talent in the Technology industry. A bachelor's or master's degree in a Psychology or people-focused subject is essential, along with a good level of maths proficiency from high school. Additionally, you must have experience working with senior stakeholders, creating learning programmes to enhance their ability to identify and engage with passive talent, and exposure to psychometric assessments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with proficiency in LinkedIn talent modules, are also required.
