About the Role

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations. You will also prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international standards. Additionally, you will ensure that all financial data is accurately monitored and analyzed to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international standards
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements through accounting data monitoring and analysis
* Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
* Handle tax calculations, filings, and coordinate with tax authorities as needed
* Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure audit readiness

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold an ACCA accountant certification and have proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of local accounting laws and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required. A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience is necessary, with experience in managing accounts for multinational operations being an advantage.
