Job Title: Data Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of database administration, infrastructure support processes, and cloud database services.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in database administration with MS SQL Server and Oracle, as well as expertise in managing DB servers and databases, including installations, upgrades, patches, and configurations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain high availability environments, including AlwaysOn Availability Groups, SQL Clusters, and Windows Clusters
  • Perform daily checks, health monitoring, and preventive maintenance of DBs
  • Troubleshoot database performance, availability, and operational issues
  • Work with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless database operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech / BE) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Training: MS SQL Server, DB2, UC4, Scripting (Windows & PowerShell)
  • Experience supporting enterprise DB infrastructure—L2 and L3 level support
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for DB performance, availability, and operational issues
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work in high-paced environments with minimal supervision
