Job Description

The successful candidate will be a dynamic Computing Teacher who can inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence. You will work collaboratively with the academic team to implement the SABIS curriculum and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach classes using provided lesson plans, developing your own materials as needed based on pacing charts.
  • Grade exams related to the taught subject according to the schedule and material provided by the department.
  • Meet with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) to discuss disciplinary and student performance issues as needed.
  • Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a productive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Proctor exams as necessary while ensuring a well-managed test environment.
  • Provide individualized support for academically underperforming students through guidance and motivation to aid in their improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of students' skills and knowledge by creating engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology, and utilizing various teaching methods.
  • Aid in various school duties such as proctoring tests, covering classes, supervising students during lunch and bus hours, managing traffic flow, and other administrative tasks assigned by the school administration.
  • Work closely with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC) to participate in activities related to student life events such as art exhibitions, open houses, and physical education.
  • Attend training sessions as requested by the school administration to enhance understanding of the SABIS system and improve overall student outcomes.
  • Pursue additional tasks or projects assigned by the school administration as required.
