Job Overview

The Discipline and Student Success Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular checks of classrooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Coordinate student line-ups during recess to promote order and respect.
  • Manage transitions between classes to minimize disruptions.
  • Mentor students on the importance of discipline and its impact on academic success.
  • Promote a quiet environment upon return to class after breaks.
  • Ensure timely arrival of students before the start of the day and after recess.
  • Motivate students to engage fully in class activities, maximizing their learning potential.
  • Accurately record attendance, incidents, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate with parents regarding absences or disciplinary issues.
  • Maintain a calm and focused learning environment through classroom monitoring.
  • Educate students on the consequences of bullying and fighting.
  • Accompany students to the bus area after school, ensuring they board their designated buses.
  • Prepare daily reports on teacher observations, student infractions, and staff concerns.
  • Assist with exam hall supervision.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations while addressing behavioral issues.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to address concerns and improve student behavior.
  • Promote the Student Life Code of Honor throughout the school.
