Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller who will ensure the quality of our products and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect production processes from start to finish to guarantee they meet Food Safety & Quality standards
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual tests
  • Verify in-process production meets requirements and communicates necessary adjustments
  • Maintain records of testing, information, and metrics such as defective products, kitchen inspections, and hygiene metrics
  • Monitor equipment safety and maintenance, reporting any issues
  • Select output samples for testing using various methods
  • Conduct staff training on food safety and quality
  • Support the team in developing a food safety and quality management system
  • Address customer complaints through investigation and corrective action plans
  • Prepare and submit reports to line managers
Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a quality controller or in a relevant role in the catering or hotel industry
  • Bachelor's Degree from a food-related field (Food Technology/Food Science/Microbiology/Bio-Chemistry etc.)
  • HACCP certification with a Level 03 minimum requirement
  • Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong English language skills and confident, firm, and pleasant personality
  • Currently located in Bahrain with knowledge of local regulations
