As an Instructor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our learners. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the instructional teams and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality training experiences.
Responsibilities- Staffing: Develop a strong bench of instructional talent to staff current and future cohorts. Identify and select qualified industry professionals who possess the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse learners.
- Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding for each instructional team member, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed from day one. This includes orienting them to the curriculum, internal processes, their team, and basic adult learning theory and instructional practices.
- Coaching & retention: Maintain coaching relationships with instructional team members to promote positive classroom culture and successful learning outcomes. Strategize opportunities to support students with diverse learning needs and work collaboratively with other GA delivery colleagues to ensure delivery quality targets are met.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, working closely with instructional team members to enhance their performance and promote a culture of continuous growth and improvement. You will also be responsible for implementing standards of instructional quality, monitoring course progress, and providing actionable feedback to instructors.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate tough conversations and build meaningful relationships with instructional team members. They will also have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple team members and delivering high-quality training experiences.
