Assistant Server RoleAt Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, we combine the best of a beach holiday and an urban getaway. This iconic landmark soars as a destination in its own right.
We are seeking an Assistant Server to serve guest needs by assisting the Lounge Server to stock supplies, clear tables, and complete guest requests.
- Clear, clean, and set up tables, chairs, linens, chinaware, glassware, and silverware for service in an unobtrusive manner.
- Greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Stock service stations with chairs, linens, chinaware, glassware, silverware, and paper goods for service.
- Fulfill requisitions of beer, liquor, soda, fruit juices, garnishes, and ice for bartenders.
- Breakdown, clean, and set up side stations and back-of-house areas.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Deliver food to guests.
- Assist servers in serving beverages.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Preferred experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Flexibility with your schedule - ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
- Strong written and oral presentation skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding environment.
- Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
