Job Description:

The GCC Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the GCC market through strategic sales planning, prospecting new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key accounts and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the GCC market.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the GCC region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Possitive communication of the hotel image to existing and potential customers at all times.
  • Maximize revenues and/or cost controls through proactive actions rather than reactive management.
  • Report on trends in the industry and local markets.
  • Maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines and planned sales trips.
  • Maintain accurate information on all new and ongoing leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts.
  • Establish and sign contracts considering the official Rate Policy in coordination with the DOSM.
  • Handle special deals (out of guidelines and rate policy) in a coordinated manner prior to offer with the hotel's management.
  • Serve as the one point contact from the Sales team with the external client he/she is dealing with and handle responsively any escalations relating to the concerned client.
  • Ensure that targets set by the hotel are met consistently.
  • Familiarize yourself with the hotel's emergency procedures and be prepared for any emergencies that may occur.
  • Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong network of contacts within the GCC region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
