About the Opportunity

We are seeking to hire a well-qualified Estimation Manager to help take our business forward in Bahrain. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a suitable candidate looking to evolve their career in a dynamic and established work environment with a loyal and respectful corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation Management: The Estimation Manager will support the divisional performance by continuously enhancing our offerings to clients and improving our price position to increase business activity.
  • Planning and Prioritization: The role involves planning estimation activities and prioritizing inquiries in line with strategic value to ensure successful project execution.
  • Team Leadership: The Estimation Manager will oversee day-to-day management and planning of estimation resources and processes to attend to inquiries received with an objective of continuous improvement of the strike ratio.

Important Requirements:

  • Client communication and internal communications with other concerned functional areas to collaborate and coordinate information.
  • Managing all estimation-related processes, including interpreting and checking tender documents, drawings, technical and commercial specifications, quantities, and estimates.
  • Reviewing and preparing bills of quantities when necessary and reviewing and scrutinizing contract documents.
  • Developing bid cost estimates for specified deadlines and managing the bid calendar to ensure compliance with commitments.
  • Maintaining supplier database and consistently seeking new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on suppliers list.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of ten to fifteen years' experience in the same field working for large-size joinery manufacturing companies.
  • Sound knowledge of estimation for high-quality joinery products and a keen awareness of commercial and contractual issues to protect the interests of the Company.
  • Proven track record as a successful leader at the senior management level in the joinery manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment.
