Job Description:

Nexcel Computer Solutions seeks a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a Helpdesk Operations Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide first-level technical assistance to facilitate the smooth running of IT operations at all times.
  2. Maintain uninterrupted flow of work by troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues.
  3. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot enterprise Applications.
  4. Interact and support numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment.
  5. Troubleshoot network connectivity in a LAN/WAN/WLAN environment.
  6. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, windows server, Microsoft office, and other authorized desktop applications.
  7. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and other equipment.
  8. Monitor, operate, manage, troubleshoot, restore personal computers or netbooks authorized by the internal IT manager to access.
  9. Provide support on IP Telephones, Conference room setup with Interactive TV and Projector.
  10. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize end-user problems and complaints.
  11. Manage and support new technologies adopted by the business.
  12. Perform other duties assigned by the internal IT manager or required by the Organization.
  13. Deploy defined new installations and upgrading of hardware and identify faults prior to informing the respective vendors or related IT parties in order to resolve the issues in a timely manner and thus facilitating uninterrupted operation.
  14. Administer server storage capacity, monitor data collisions and system processes and patches, and rectify issues ensuring that they are ready and correctly deployed.
  15. Participate and test the efficiency of disaster recovery procedures so that they can be reinstated in a timely and integral manner without any loss of data in the event of a disaster.
  16. Monitor the working of various aspects of network connectivity, servers, and telephone systems ensuring smooth operation, rectifying any problems or incorrect usage.
  17. Evaluate and maintain incident and problem case logs and review association with network infrastructure components diligently.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software.
  • Experience with network administration, server management, and disaster recovery.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
