Job Title: Senior Technical Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities

The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the Engineering Team to ensure efficient maintenance of all hotel operations, guaranteeing safety, security, comfort, and compliance at the highest levels.

This involves leading daily engineering and maintenance operations, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules. Effective communication with Housekeeping is crucial for coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas.

  • Lead Daily Engineering Operations: The Chief Engineer must lead by example and demonstrate a strong understanding of technical skills and protocols.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Ensuring the health and safety of guests and staff is paramount. This includes developing systems and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate Renovations: The Chief Engineer will collaborate with Government agencies to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and oversee contractors during renovation projects.
Requirements

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of building management and engineering principles. A degree in Engineering or a related field is essential, as well as experience with budgeting and basic accounting practices.
