Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager\

The Canonical Cloud Infrastructure Operations team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead our efforts in this critical area.\

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure architectures to meet business needs.\
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures for cloud infrastructure operations.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure with other systems and applications.\
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.\
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.\
  • Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.\\

\Requirements\

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on design, implementation, and operation of large-scale cloud environments.\
  • Proven expertise in cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.\
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.\
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies, including Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).\\
