Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain is an award-winning five-star hotel located adjacent to Bahrain International Airport, offering luxurious accommodations and exceptional services. We are seeking a highly responsible and reliable Pool Safety Specialist to join our team.

Job Overview

The Pool Safety Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the safety and well-being of our guests and visitors while ensuring the pool area remains attractive, sanitary, and safe. This role involves checking swimming pool chemicals, maintaining required logs, and ensuring availability of equipment and supplies.

The successful candidate will also assist with setup or movement of equipment for special events, respond to inquiries from guests, and clean assigned facilities. Additionally, they will effectively supervise the swimming pools, monitor people's actions, and take control of water safety at all times.

This role requires strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Lifeguard, certification in CPR First Aid, and certification as a Lifeguard.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the swimming pool and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
  • Check swimming pool chemicals and maintain required logs
  • Ensure availability of equipment and supplies
  • Assist with setup or movement of equipment for special events
  • Respond to inquiries from guests
  • Clean assigned facilities
  • Effectively supervise the swimming pools and monitor people's actions
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Lifeguard
  • Certification in CPR First Aid preferred
  • Certification as a Lifeguard preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
