Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pools and Beach Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be required to multi-task, think on your feet and provide excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in customer service and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
  • Assist guests with pool amenities, including setting up and re-setting loungers and chairs, and providing towels and other essentials.
  • Engage with guests, proactively greeting them and offering assistance as needed.
  • Inform guests of pool policies and features, and provide information on hotel services and activities.
  • Clear finished plates and glassware from tables and bus back to the correct kitchen throughout the day.
  • Pick up and deliver towels/towel bins to and from the laundry and towel stands.
  • Maintain the pool and seating areas presentable, clean, orderly, and ready for immediate use by new guests.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
  • Requires basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
  • Swimming/life guard skills to assist a guest in distress.
  • CPR/First Aid skills/certification is an advantage.
